This policy explains what personal data Aguila Performance Academy collects when you visit aguila-performance.academy, make an enquiry, book a session or train with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Where you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also respect your rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR where they apply.
1. Who we are
Aguila Performance Academy is the golf coaching entity of Aguila Performance. Both are operated by Aguila Retail General Trading LLC(“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Aguila Performance (aguila-performance.com) designs and installs golf simulator rooms. The Academy delivers PGA coaching from the same premises and uses the same contact details. The aguila-performance.com website has its own privacy policy.
2. The personal data we collectInformation you give us
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address and anything you write in your message, whether through our contact form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp.
- Bookings: the details needed to deliver your session, such as your name, contact details, the session or package booked, and the date and time. Bookings are taken through our booking partner, Back9 Solutions (see section 2, “Bookings and payments”).
- Your golf: your handicap, playing history, goals and what you want to work on.
- Injuries and physical limitations: if you choose to tell us about an injury, a medical condition or a physical limitation so your coach can adapt your training, we record it. This is sensitive data, and we only use it with your explicit consent and only to keep your coaching safe and suitable.
- Feedback and testimonials: any review or comment you give us.
Information we create when you train with us
Our coaching is built on measurement. During sessions we may record:
- Swing video captured on camera or phone.
- 3D motion analysis generated by Sportsbox 3D from your swing video, including body position, rotation, sequencing and speed measurements.
- Ball and club data from our Foresight and TrackMan launch monitors, such as club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin, face angle, path and carry distance.
- Coaching notes and progress records written by your coach, including session plans, drills and how your numbers change over time.
We use this data to coach you and to show you your progress. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Information collected automatically on our website
- Your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country), the pages you visit, links you click, time on page and the site that referred you.
- With your consent, anonymised session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors use our pages.

Bookings and payments
All online bookings for Academy sessions and packages are made through Back9 Solutions, an independent booking platform. When you select “Book Now” on our website, you leave aguila-performance.academy and go to our booking page on the Back9 portal (portal.back9solutions.com/aguilaperformance).
On the Back9 portal you may be asked to create an account and to give your name, email address, phone number and payment details. Back9 uses these to manage your booking and take payment, and sends you booking confirmations and reminders. We do not see or store your full card details. Back9 shares with us the booking information we need to deliver your session, such as your name, contact details, the session or package booked, and the date and time.
Back9 processes this data on our behalf to run our bookings, and also under its own privacy policy, which applies to your use of the portal. Please read it when you book.
3.Juniors and families
We coach junior golfers, and families often train together. Our website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data online directly from anyone under 18.
- Enquiries and bookings for anyone under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian, who provides the junior’s details.
- We record swing video, 3D motion data and launch monitor data for a junior only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and only to coach that junior.
- A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their child’s data at any time.
- We never use a junior’s name, photograph or video in marketing, on our website or on social media without the separate written consent of a parent or guardian.

We do not sell your personal data.
Testimonials, photos and video
We only publish a testimonial, or a photo or video of you, after you have agreed to it. We publish your name alongside a testimonial only with your permission. You can ask us to remove it at any time, and we will take it down from our website and stop using it in new material.
Marketing messages
We only send marketing messages by email or WhatsApp if you have asked to hear from us. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can reply “STOP” on WhatsApp or contact us to opt out.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which the site needs to work and which are always active.
- Analytics cookies and session recording, which only run if you accept them in our cookie banner.

Our website links to Instagram, LinkedIn and aguila-performance.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
7. Who we share your data with
- The service providers listed above, who act on our instructions.
- Our coaching team, who see only what they need to coach you.
- Aguila Performance, of which the Academy is part, where you ask about a simulator room for your home or business.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold, under the same protections set out in this policy.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, and on the protections UAE law requires for transfers.
9. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Client records, coaching notes, swing video, 3D motion data and launch monitor data: while you train with us and for up to 3 years after your last session, so we can pick up where you left off if you return. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- Injury or medical information: only while it is relevant to your coaching, and deleted when you ask.
- Accounting and transaction records: as long as UAE law requires.
- Testimonials and marketing consents: until you withdraw your consent.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months. Microsoft Clarity data: up to 13 months.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict or stop how we use it, including for marketing;
- send your data to you or another provider in a commonly used format, including your swing and launch monitor data where we hold it;
- withdraw any consent you have given. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Email enquiries@aguila-performance.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law allows. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UAE Data Office or, if you live in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority
11. How we protect your data
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to client records, video and performance data is limited to the people who need it, and we use established hosting, booking and backup providers. No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will highlight significant changes on our website.
